The food in Argentina was amazing by the way. Their beef is unbelievable, but more importantly the price of great food is way more affordable there than in the States. We went to a restaurant called Tegui one night on the hotel’s recommendation. We were a little skeptical at first, because all we saw was the above picture…a black door that was locked, and a bunch of posters and graffiti. We almost left, because we thought we had the wrong place and some Argentinian mobster was going to come out and “wring my neck”, and it took a while for someone to answer. Luckily we stayed and were greeted by an old actress like waitress and walked past a velvet curtain into this…

The place was amazing, it really felt like we were in a movie.
The food was probably the best food we had ever tasted (except for uncle julio’s of course), we felt like judges on top chef, with nothing bad at all to say. The next few pictures are all the courses we ate, but they give the food no justice.
